Tingkat Pengetahuan Lansia Tentang Gizi yang di Butuhkan Tubuh Pada Usia Lanjut

Abstract

According to WHO (World Health Organization) Naturally, the elderly will experience the aging process so that this process will decrease the physical, psychological and social conditions that result in health problems in the elderly, for the lifestyle in the elderly can also be influenced by the food and drinks consumed, namely food that does not have nutritional value, and consuming alcoholic beverages, so that this kind of lifestyle can also affect the nutritional status of the elderly. The research is descriptive using primary data, namely data obtained from direct field observations using a questionnaire that has been designed previously to determine the knowledge of the elderly about the nutrition needed by the elderly body in Telaga Village, Deli Serdang Regency in 2021 as many as 20 people in this study. From the table above, the results of the study can be seen in 20 respondents, it is known that the knowledge of the elderly about elderly nutrition based on the majority of education is college as many as 7 people (35%) and the minority of high school education as many as 2 people (10%), based on family support, the majority does not support 12 people (60) and the minority supports 8 people (40%) based on support from health workers, the majority does not support as many as 11 people (55%) and the minority who supports as many as 9 people (45%), based on information sources, the majority of electronic media as many as 8 (40%) and the minority of print media as many as 5 (25%). From this study, it is hoped that every elderly person will seek and dig up more information in order to increase their knowledge about nutrition in old age
