Pengaruh Edukasi Kesehatan terhadap Pengetahuan dan Sikap Ibu Hamil tentang Tanda Bahaya Kehamilan di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas

Abstrak
Tanda bahaya kehamilan merupakan kondisi yang dapat mengancam keselamatan ibu dan janin apabila tidak dikenali secara dini. Rendahnya pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil terhadap tanda bahaya kehamilan masih menjadi permasalahan di berbagai wilayah pelayanan kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi kesehatan terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil tentang tanda bahaya kehamilan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Berastagi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest tanpa kelompok kontrol. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 ibu hamil yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Intervensi yang diberikan berupa edukasi kesehatan menggunakan media leaflet dan penyuluhan langsung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan ibu hamil setelah diberikan edukasi kesehatan (p<0,05). Selain itu, terdapat perubahan sikap ibu hamil ke arah yang lebih positif setelah intervensi (p<0,05). Edukasi kesehatan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu hamil terhadap tanda bahaya kehamilan. Oleh karena itu, tenaga kesehatan khususnya bidan disarankan untuk meningkatkan program edukasi secara berkelanjutan..
