Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at Mitra Sejati Hospital in 2025 with the aim of providing solutions to various health problems through the utilization of information technology. The main issues identified include limitations in manual medical record keeping, inefficiencies in patient data management, and the lack of understanding among healthcare workers and patients regarding the use of digital health applications. To address these challenges, the community service team conducted activities such as socialization, training on the use of electronic medical record applications, and assistance in utilizing digital media as a means of health communication between patients and healthcare providers. The implementation methods involved educational approaches, direct demonstrations, and evaluation of participants’ understanding through pretest and posttest assessments. The results showed a significant improvement in healthcare workers’ awareness of the importance of digitalization in healthcare services, as well as increased skills in operating information technology–based applications. In addition, patients gained a better understanding of the benefits of using health applications to support monitoring of their medical conditions. Therefore, this community service activity contributes to improving healthcare service quality, enhancing data management efficiency, and supporting digital transformation within Mitra Sejati Hospital.
